Earth the year 2010,we've been watching television and listening to radio for almost a hundred years.The waves eminent from are planet like winds, carrying are thoughts, are dreams, deep into the voids of space. On a planet many light years away they are reaching,shows from the early days of television,shows like Howdy Dowdy,The Lone Ranger,and You Bet your Life.Shows from a simpler more gentle time.Who's listening,a race built on conquest,on war and on the death of others.A race called by there neighbors in the galaxy a plague ,a parasite,and something to be feared.The Gandos were a race from a hard cold planet,In there evolutionary rise they had adapted by becoming a war like people.From the smallest bug to the largest beast the planet of Gandos was a hellspawned nightmare.Around every turn was death ready to strike and at the top of this evil food chain stood the people of Gandos.The people if you could call them that were a strange looking race.There skin was a hard carapace that was impervious to most weapons .There eyes gave them the ability to see in almost any conditions,from deep darkness to blinding light.There hearing was just as great.It was said they could hear a whisper a mile away.There sense of smell was just as acute.They were predators built to deal out death.There new conquest are home, Earth. The Gandos had been receiving signals from earth for over 10 years.Now they were prepared to travel to Earth and take over.They had studied,cataloged and learned all the could from are television and radio.From what they learned they thought us weak and pitiful.A race ripe for them to destroy.Of course the stuff they were. watching was old and out of date we weren't as weak as they thought, there had been alot of changes in 70 odd years. since those tv shows were aired.The very television it self was nothing like the old black and white of that age gone by.No the televisions of 2010 were marvels of a new age,there was no screen ,images apeared in the air in 3 -D looking as real as life it self.and the radios of today were so small they could fit in side a persons ear but could give sound so crisp and real that any music heard was like being at a live concert.The weapons we had now were more destuctive then the ones we had in the 40's.We now had plasma lasers,photon acclerator beams,and anti-mater rockets.These weapons could destroy the Earth a hundred times over.War between nations on Earth was a thing of the past .The Earth was now governed by the world peace plan its being run by a commitee of elected representatives from each world state. The peace was kept by the world peace force .A army whos weapons were so deadly no one in there right mind would defie them.The earth was now in a great time of peace.No one went hungry,no one suffered from sickness,and no one had to worry.It was the dawn of a new age.The age of hope.But the earth spinning in it orbit was traveling unaware of the enemies coming from the deeps of space. The Gandos stoled the technologies of the worlds they conquered.and with each conquest became stronger.Faster then light engines stolen from the Feradas.Weapons stolen from the cretons.World upon worlds great dreams stolen to fuel the Gandos rape of the heavens.Could anyone stand against the scurge of the universe.Maybe Earth shinning blue in the dark vast emptiness could stop the cancer called the Gandos.. The Gandos in there great war galleons headed towards Earth ,but even at the speed of light the voyage would take over 4 years.They took that time to prepare for the invasion of are tiny planet ,they planned,and replanned every detail over and over refining there plans till they thought they were perfect.There plans were based on the earth the way it was in the 1940's not today.That little oversite is what will make all there plans useless .
